Since 1st Jan 2009, NEA had made smokers' life a tad more inconvenient.

With effect from 1 January 2009, more places in Singapore will be smoke-free.

• Lift Lobbies
• Markets
• Multi-storey & Basement Carparks
• Hotel Lobbies
• Ferry Terminals
• Playgrounds
• Exercise Areas
• Non Air-conditioned Shopping Centres, Shops, Factories & Offices
• Within 5 metres of Entrances & Exits


So now smoking areas and non-smoking areas are very clearly stated in Singapore.

As you can see from this picture, this is a smoking zone ! So all the smokers will gather around here and puff their lives away.

But there's one thing i don't understand.

Why is it that non-smoking signs are so motherfucking huge but smoking zone signs are so tiny. WHY ?
